Patients can request repeat medication online via Emis Access. Please ask at reception to gain your log-in details.
For acute medication, our patients can email their request to email@example.com and will have to allow us two working days before collection. Patients can come in person or a member of family (on behalf of the patient) can come and put down a request of the medication at the reception.
Pharmacies requesting medication on behalf of patients can post or request prescriptions in person.
Prescription requests will NOT be taken over the telephone UNLESS you are a housebound patient.
If you are a newly registered patient and on repeat medication, you will need to book an appointment to see the doctor. They will need to enter your medication details onto your records before issuing your first prescription. We also advise our new patients to bring in the counterpart of their prescription or the box of their medication to ensure accurate issuing of medication.
If you are planning to go on holiday and requesting your repeat medication before its due date, we require our patients to state this on their request and allow us two working days for it to be dealt with.
Electronic Prescription Service (EPS)
If you request your prescription to go to your nominated pharmacy you will need to allow two working days so it can be sent electronically to the pharmacy where you can collect your medication.
